Ritchie Cawein Wade passed away in Savoy on August 7, 2016. He was born in Lexington, KY to Edwin Cawein and Leota G. Robbins Wade on September 27, 1938. He married Mary Greenway on January 31, 1959.

He was an avid pilot who taught thousands of pilots to fly throughout the years. He was of the Baptist faith and retired as a purchasing agent from AT&T.

He is survived by Mary, his wife of 57 years; sons Mark Wade and wife DeDe of Bonham, Michael Wade of Randolph and Steven and wife Maria of Florida, 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 brother Larry Wade of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both parents,sister Marilyn Schnider, daughter-in-law Lana Gayle Flipo Wade and sister-in -law Sharron Wade.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, Texas with Mark Wade, Mike Wade, Don Woodard, Gary Wade, Brian Wade, Robert Greenway and Bob Greenway serving as pallbearers.
