Ruth Rhoades Arnold age 105 of Greenville, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Colonial Lodge in Greenville. She was born on November 21, 1910 in Wolfe City, Texas to Oscar Clarence Rhoades and Ola Johnston Rhoades.

Mrs. Arnold was a member of Highland Terrence Baptist Church in Greenville and a retired real-estate agent. She graduated from Wolfe City High School and attended the University of Houston Massey Business College. She lived in Houston for 46 years and moved to Greenville in 1975.

She was preceded in death by her sister Nell Esslinger, sister and husband Fay and Charlie Brignon, her brother and wife, Dwight and Orene Rhoades, and nephew John McNabb.

She is survived by nephew Jimmie Brignon and wife Debra, niece Mary Dwilene Korby and husband Steve, great niece Linda Milton and husband Larry, great niece Sophie Dowling and husband Charles, great nephew Brit Brignon and wife Mandy and many other family members.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Mt Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City with Bro. Royce Litchfield officiating.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. at R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City.
