I am so sorry to hear about Coach Felty. I worked under him at Wolfe City, while I was an aide in Special Education department and he was such an honest, compassionate person. I admired how he TRULY loved the kids and wanted what was best for them, always. He was always there for employees who needed counsel and advice. My sympathies go out to all the family. I will keep them in my heart and prayers during this difficult time.
So sorry to hear of Coach Felty’s passing. He was a great inspiration to me and forever holds a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to you Terrie, along with the rest of your family during this difficult time. I could write a book on the year of my life during 1987. Terrie, you and Coach Felty were certainly a bright light and I am so grateful. You were both such an enormous positive part of my overall experience in Wolfe City. Never underestimate the lifelong impact a great coach/teacher can have on our youth. I wish you all peace and comfort.
Jimmy was kind and easy to like. Remember his 57 chevys.
To Terrie and all the family,
I was so sorry and sad to learn of Coach Felty’s death.
He was a friend to all, a joy to work with and very supportive of the teaching staff, in addition to his obvious love for the students he coached and taught.

time when your hearts are broken, for He understands and cares for you.
