Robert “Cole” Dillon was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at the age of 27. Cole was born in Greenville, Texas, on May 22, 1995. He was raised in Wolfe City and graduated from Wolfe City High School in 2013.
Cole was a precious boy whose infectious grin and mischievous personality charmed everyone he met, and he was loved deeply by his family and friends. Although we know that Cole is completely whole and happy and wrapped in the arms of Jesus, his passing leaves an indelible mark and unfillable hole our lives. We are forever changed by his presence and blessed beyond measure for the time we had with him.
Cole Dillon is survived by his parents, Robert Dillon and Pamela Russell; grandparents, Jack and Shirley Dillon; siblings, Shelby Denise Dillon, Cortney Dillon, Dunia Russell, Mo Russell, and Laythe Russell; nephews, Saxon Brown and Simba Brown; aunts and uncles, Angela Dillon, Richard Dillon, Lanell Milner, Almina & Mike Cook, and Alvin & Ramona Quirl. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman & Dalane Quirl, and his aunt, Vivian Wright.
Visitation will be held at R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A graveside service will take place at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, Texas, on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
