Heather Grandfield Madewell, 26, became our heavenly angel on Saturday May 11, 2024, At UT Health in Tyler, Texas. Heather was born August 13,1997 in Greenville, Texas to Kristie and Tommy Grandfield. She was immediately cared for by her grandmother Jan Grandfield who was her neonatal nurse. The first line in her chart reads “beautiful baby girl”.

Heather grew up and was raised in Wolfe City, Texas. In school she made many friends. In high school she played volleyball, basketball, golf and was a cheerleader. Heather attended college at Texas A&M University Commerce where she graduated in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in public health. With the help of one of her Chi Omega sisters, she obtained a career working with Alight Solutions.

In 2020 she met the love of her life Blake Madewell. God blessed them with two wonderful children, River Hayes Madewell in 2021 and Rylen Blake Madewell in 2022. Heather loved them with everything she had.

Heather is survived by her Husband Blake Madewell, Sons River and Rylen, parents Kristie and Tommy Grandfield. Brother Jordan Grandfield and wife Rose. Mother and Father-in-law Quint and Rebecca Madewell. Sister-in-law Whitney Rice and husband Michael. Grandparents Donna Turney, Jan and Ted Grandfield, Don and Virginia Coker. Along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Heather was preceded in death by her grandparents Billy Turney, AB and Nancy Madewell.

A visitation will be at Cross Trails Cowboy Church located at 4761 FM 1563 Fairlie, Texas on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 2:00pm. The Funeral Service will be at 3:00pm with Pastor Tim Hearn officiating the service. Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, Texas.
