Funeral services will be held Friday, June 28, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Wolfe City, with Mark Eldridge officiating. Visitation will precede the service starting at 2:00 P.M. Interment details will be announced at a later date.

Judy E. Livingston Cole, 77, of Greenville, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2024, at the Legend Health Care Center in Greenville, surrounded by loved ones, after bravely battling multiple health challenges.
Judy was born on January 6, 1947, to Floyd and Wilma Smithey Livingston in Rural Hunt County. She married Derrell London in 1966 and later Clayton G. Cole in 1986. She cherished her Baptist faith and pursued a career in Administration following her education at Wolfe City High School (Class of 1965) and Amber University. Judy found joy in reading, sewing, and baking, renowned for her delicious cookies and a “Damn Good Cake.”
She is survived by her daughters, Jana Bird and husband David of Quinlan, and Sarah Michele Verma and husband Vijay of Frisco; grandchildren, Heather Bird Fogarty and husband Sterling, Holli Bird Meno and husband Nicholas, Nathan Verma, Priya Verma; step-children, Barry Cole and wife Peggy of Mansfield, Sherri Mitchell and husband Richard of Big Sandy; step-grandchildren, Jennifer Cook, Amber Cook, Ashley Cook, Scotty Cole, Cameron Cole and wife Andie, Megan Cole; great-grandchildren, Sylar Meno, Aspen Meno, James D. Fogarty, Elijah Fogarty, Dena Shaae Fogarty; step-great-grandchildren, Jacob Luna, Sydney Campbell, Carlie Cook, Delane Cook, Braeden Cook; siblings, Floyd Livingston and wife Carolyn, Sarah Elliott, Melba Walters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clayton Cole, and sister Nancy Livingston Good.
Judy will be remembered for her strength, her warmth, and the love she shared with her family and friends throughout her life’s journey.
Sweet Judy loved her family and showed it by her cookies, cakes and sewing. Her courage and resilience with her health problems are a testimony to her strength and faith. She loved her Pearl’s (seniors) and honored them. I’m so thankful for the love and care she gave to my family 💗
