Robbie Ann (Epperson) George, age 80, passed away on September 22, 2024 at Legend Health Care in Greenville. She was born to Rufus and Eleanor (Kelly) Epperson on June 19, 1944, in Gibson County, Tennessee.
She married Jimmy George on June 29, 1969, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Robbie is survived by her two children, son Michael George and wife Lori, daughter Sherry Poole, grandchildren: Luke George, Colton George, David Poole, Loretta Gunn. She is also survived by great-grandchildren: CayLee Harrison, Jay Harrison and Ian Poole, brother in law Ray George, brothers and sisters: Steve Epperson and wife Paulette, Brenda Stewart, and Ruffie Younger and husband Don.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jimmy George. Her parents, Rufus and Eleanor Epperson.
Visitation will be Friday evening, September 27, 2024 at Owens Funeral Home in Wolfe City from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Oliver Mowat 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 28, 2024, at R.W. Owens and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Luke George, Colton George, Vince Patterson, Paul Freese, Beau Bennett and Chaffin Andrews.
