Fred Allen Sumrow, age 71, formerly of Wolfe City, passed away in Nevada on August 5, 2017. He was born to Irvin and Juanita Caldwell Sumrow in Copeville, Texas on February 8, 1946.
Fred worked for many years as a dry wall finisher in the construction industry. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Wolfe City.

He is survived by his daughters, Stacey Kay and husband Scott Marshall of Colorado, Shonna Diann Sumrow of Greenville, and Stephanie Leann Sumrow of Greenville, brothers Dale Sumrow of Wolfe City, Gene Sumrow and wife Barbara of Leonard, sister Linda and husband Mike Taylor of Bullard, six grandchildren: Kylie Danielle Dowell, Saphire Lynn Sumrow, Khal Allen France, Salanna Jade Sumrow, Sierra Lynn Smith, Slayde Kash Parnell, and three great-grandchildren: Rylynn Dowell, Kalee France, Elijah Garcia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Michael Sumrow, two sisters Kay Gibson and Patty Houser, and a great-grandaughter Gracie Dowell.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Calvary Baptist Church in Wolfe City to be conducted by Bro. Larry Morris.
