Dorothy Lee Wasson, 96, former Wolfe City Resident passed away Thursday, June 29th in Texas Health of Rockwall. Mrs. Wasson was born on Dec. 31, 1920 to Buford Dugger and Vera Wilson Dugger in Wolfe City. She married Sidney Glenn Wasson on Sept. 21, 1938 in Hugo, Okla. She was a housewife and long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Wolfe City, but she was best known for the support of her husband, her love of family, her talents and generosity. She brought happiness to all those with whom she came in contact.
Survivors are a son Dr. Robert Wasson and wife Kay; two daughters, Barbara Wesson and husband Dr. Jerry Wesson, Elaine Wilson and husband Dr. Chuck Wilson. 5-grandchildren; Ronald Glenn Wasson, Blake Wasson, Scott Wesson, Chris Wilson and Kim Middleton. 11-great grandchildren and 2-great-great grandchildren and 1-brother, Wilson Dugger. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a sister.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 3 at 2:00 PM in the First United Methodist Church in Wolfe City, burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Wolfe City. Pallbearers are Scott Wesson, Ron Wasson, Chris Wilson, Blake Wasson, Robert Middleton and Ryan Wasson. R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
