David Ulman Hunter, 64, of Wolfe City passed away Monday, May 1st at his residence. Mr. Hunter was born on Sept. 19, 1952 in Borger, Texas to Henry Ulman Hunter and Anita Joyce Lucas Hunter, he married Toni Lynn Gossett on Feb. 9, 1980 in Port O’Connor, Tx. He worked as the Senior Superintendent for Balfour-Beatty Construction for 17 years and was a member of the Whiterock Church of Christ, Whiterock, Tx.
Survivors are his wife’ Toni Hunter of Wolfe City, Sons, Jeremy Hunter and wife Christy, Chad Hunter and wife Dana, John Ketcham and wife Stephanie, Daughters; Melissa Hunter-Gault and husband Jeff, and Keli Hunt and husband Matt. 11 grandchildren-Ryley, Britian, Annabeth, Preston, Cody, Caleb, Peyton, Cheyenne Jacob, Abigail and Mason. 2 Sisters; Debra Kay Stark and Jannie Hickey.
Funeral Services will be held in the R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 5th, 2017 at 2:00m P.M. conducted by Samuel Glenn. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City following the funeral.
Pallbearers are Jeremy Hunter, Chad Hunter, Charley Devoe, Chase Johnson, Zack Newell, Aaron Collister and Gordon Porter. Honorary Pallbearers are Billy Dan West, Billy Goin and Juan Davis.
