Mark Leon Ashwood Jr. age 37 of Mesquite, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Baylor Medical Center of Dallas. He was born on December 11, 1978 in Mesquite to Mark Leon Ashwood Sr. and Denise Lavelle Daniels Ashwood.

Mark was loved dearly by his entire family. He enjoyed his life to the fullest despite his limitations. He enjoyed working out to Richard Simmons videos and could put a smile on everyone’s face.

He is survived by his mother Denise Ashwood of Mesquite, siblings Mike Ashwood and wife Tonya of Forney and Kristal Grubbs of Mesquite, step-brother Brent Wilson and wife Regina, step-sister Kim O’glee5 and husband John, five nieces and nephews; Kirsten, Dakota, Hunter, Nicole, Brooke, grandma Barbara Daniels, seven aunts, six uncles, many cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his step-dad Joel Wilson.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, Texas with Billy Brown Jr. officiating. The family will gather at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home prior to the service and travel to the cemetery together.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City, Texas.
