Billy Eugene Duncan, 75, of Wolfe City died the morning of Aug. 6, 2013, at Hunt Regional Medical Center of Greenville. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013 in the chapel of R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home with Bro. David Norman officiating. Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the funeral home.

He was born Feb. 2, 1938, in Wolfe City to Oscar Ervin and Ollie Maude White Duncan. On June 2, 1978, he married Barbara L. Pairsh in Bonham.

Mr. Duncan was a retired mechanic. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Crosstrails Cowboy Church in Fairlie.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara of Wolfe City; one son, Keith Duncan of Wolfe City; two daughters, Misty Walding of Saginaw and Veronica Duncan of Wolfe City; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, John “Dub” Duncan of Rowlett; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

His parents, one brother, and three sisters preceded him in death.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Baldwin, Sean Baldwin, Michael Ford, Marvin Pack, Joe Henslee and Tony Duncan.
