Clevis D. Ticer, 62, of Wolfe City, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the Hunt Regional Hospital in Greenville.
The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Owens Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Rusty Shieves officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leslie Conrad, Matthew Boehk, Kenneth Branum, Tommy Jones, Jimmy James and Carl Lamm. Kevin Sorrow and Jason Ticer will be honorary pallbearers.
Clevis was born November 22, 1959, in Mt. Pleasant to Tom and Elizabeth Darnell Ticer.
He graduated from Wolfe City High School with the class of 1978. He worked for Texas Tag and Label Company which is now Ennis Business Forms, for 35 years. Clevis was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and he enjoyed golf and visiting the casino.
He is survived by his brother, Valton Ticer and wife, Sheri, sister, Martha James and husband, Jimmy; nieces, Kristi Conrad and husband, Leslie, April Michelle Caves, Kelsey Ticer and Leslie Boehk and husband Matthew, Laurie Beth Hendricks and husband Jake; nephews Jason Ticer and wife Michelle and Tommy James and wife Erin. Numerous great- nieces and great- nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Roy, Tommy and Phil and baby sister Frances Elizabeth.
