–  March 4, 2011 Clyde Rufus Manley, 72, of Wolfe City died March 4, 2011, at his home. A funeral service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Wolfe City with Bro. J.P. Perez officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be David Lowery, Donnie Cates, Will Wilson, John David Manly, Matt Painter and Will Manley. Jimmie Brignon will be honorary pallbearer.

He was born Aug. 7, 1938, in Bryson to James Rufus and Minnie Calvin Hedges Manley. He married Donna Cates on Nov. 9, 1981, in Durant, Okla. He was owner and contractor of Manley Service Company. He was a member of Hickory Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife; sons James Manley, Lance Manley and Dwayne Manley; a daughter, Tammy Manley; five grandchildren; and brothers David Manley, Gene Manley and Donnie Manley.

His parents, one brother and son Gary Don Manley preceded him in death.
