Doland E. Tingle, 78, of Greenville died April 10, 2012, at his home following a lengthy illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home chapel with Gary Sprinkle officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Nick Valdez, Chad Bridges, Kenny Tingle, Rick Espino, Pat Williams and Randy Bell.
He was born Jan. 2, 1934, in Wolfe City to Sidney Frances and Bertie May Guest Tingle. He married Betty Sue Graves on April 25, 1958, in Durant, Okla.
Mr. Tingle was a veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a pressman for Younger Color Press.
Surviving are a son, Kevin Tingle and wife Jackie; a daughter, Sherrie Bridges and husband Chad; grandchildren Amy Valdez, Kenny Tingle, Amber Limbaugh, Kimberly Tingle and Jessica Tingle; and great-grandchildren Aubrey Myers, Avery Valdez, Ace Valdez, Kevin Tingle, Brayden Williams, Katy Berry, Sydney Berry and Jayden Williams.
