Larry Gene Carrigan, age 72, passed away January 3, 2025, at his home in Wolfe City.  He was born to Howard Gene and Edith Loraine Manning Carrigan November 3, 1952, in Dallas.

Visitation will be at R. W. Owens and Son Funeral Home, Monday. January 6, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.  The graveside service will be Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.

Larry graduated from W. H. Adamson High School in Oak Cliff, before becoming an electrician.  As an electrician he worked on commercial and industrial building electrical systems.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys and driving.  The destination was not as important as the journey was, he just liked to get behind the wheel and go.

He is survived by his four sons and one daughter: David Carrigan and wife Rechel Mowry of Wolfe city, Michelle Merriman and husband Kevin Turner of Tawakoni, Jeffery Carrigan and wife Star Carrigan, Ryan Carrigan and wife Jennifer Carrigan, and Derrick Carrigan and wife Anne Carrigan.  He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.  He is preceded I death by his parents and all his siblings.
