James Ralph Warren, age 87, of Wolfe City, passed away at Leonard Manor, Saturday, June 8, 2019. He was born to Lum and Lizzie Woodard Warren in Wolfe City on April 8, 1932.

Ralph graduated from Wolfe City High School. He soon met the love of his life, Jane Payne, whom he married October 15, 1954. They spent many years together prior to her passing in 2010. They had two sons.

Ralph worked at Ennis Tag in Wolfe City until he retired. He was a Ham radio operator and had an interest and aptitude for electronics so when Tag got their first computer system, they tasked Ralph with setting it up.

Ralph is survived by his son Jimmy, sister, Joyce Thompson of Wolfe City, nieces Linda Neaville and husband Bill of Commerce, and Patricia Thompson of Dallas. He is also survived by several cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and one son.

Ralph was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was an active member of the Commerce, TX congregation.

There will be a graveside service at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm. at the:
