Jerry Lynn Fite, 71, of Ladonia, went to be with the Lord, July 12, 2022 at his home. Jerry was born November 3, 1950, in Malvern, Arkansas to Wesley and Pauline Walton Fite. He married Margaret Ann Roach in Greenville, Texas in 1969. They were happily married for 47 years.
He attended school in Prattsville, Arkansas. He was of Baptist Faith and was a member of Buie Baptist Church in Prattsville. Jerry worked for Simpsons Strong Tie in McKinney, Texas for many years. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for hunting, fishing and any other outdoor activities. He liked working on vehicles in his spare time.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a daughter: Melinda Ann Fite, two sisters: Bonnie Ruth Fite Ross of Poyen, Arkansas, and Shirley Elizabeth Fite Kervin of Prattsville, Arkansas.
He is survived by two sons: Steven Fite and wife Michelle of Ladonia, Texas and Chris Fite and wife Shirley of Greenville, Texas. He is also survived by grandchildren: Tori Steen and husband Josh, Tarrissa Fite, Cade Fite, Cain Fite, Cera Fite, Bryleigh Fite, Chase Fite, Madelyn Cates, several step-grandchildren, a great-granddaughter Lydia Fite and several step-great-grandchildren, four brothers: Truman and wife Mary, Junior and wife Penny, Kenny Fite all of Poyen, Arkansas and Terry Fite and wife Erma of Prattsville, Arkansas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Conner, Sidney Almond, Matthew Ward, Phillip Hopkins, Payton Hopkins, Eddy Roach and Jeremy Luna.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 17 from 5 until 7:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home a service will be conducted by Bro. Bobby Sparks of Emmanuel Baptist Church on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Owens Funeral Home Chapel in Wolfe City. Interment will follow at Money Cemetery in Greenville at the intersection of CR 1001 and CR 1033.
RIP Mr. Jerry. Now back with your family in heaven and can hunt and fish all you want. Peace be with you sir.

The father I always wanted, the sweetest man I’ve ever known. The world will be much less now that he is gone. I am happy that he is with his Ann again and no longer in pain though. Missing this man so much but will be seeing him again one day in Heaven.
