Jesse Garcia, age 90, was born to Ignacio and Anna Romo Garcia in Ninnekah, OK on August 21, 1933.  He passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his children in Wolfe City, TX April 10, 2024.

Jesse graduated High School in Harrah, OK.  In 1953 Jesse answered our nations call for service and entered The United States Marine Corp where he served proudly during the Korean conflict earning multiple medals and awards.  He married the love of his life Earlene Janice Roberson on May 7, 1957, in Gainesville, Texas. They moved to Wolfe City where they raised 5 children.  He retired from E-Systems/Raytheon in Greenville.

He is survived by five children:  Robert Garcia of Wolfe City, Donald Garcia of Wolfe City, Regina Scallan of Wolfe City, Penny Allgood of Greenville, and Rhonda Sherman and husband Carl of Wills Point, TX.

He is also survived by grandchildren, Robert Garcia, Jessie Alexander, Michelle Schrand and husband Ray, Cassandra Davidson and husband Jerry, Kimberly Riley, Kim Fisher and husband Donnie, Cara Caplinger and husband Gary, Michael Tiffee and wife Diana, Candra Tiffee and husband Shannon, Nicole Skidmore and husband Matt, Josh Bowman and wife Latisha, Brianne Copeland and husband Justin, and Caitlin Kimberlin and husband Bailey. many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Earlene, two babies, a grandson: Kristopher Garcia, sisters Nadine Guerro and Dolores Doke.

Jesse was a very skilled guitarist who loved music. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing and taking care of their 10-acre homestead. He loved his family very much and enjoyed it when everyone came to visit. His family will miss him dearly.
