February 21, 1917 – June 9, 2012 Jewel Nadine Adams, 95, of Randolph died June 9, 2012, at her home. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lindsey Cemetery in Randolph with Paul Lyon and Charlie Sneed officiating under the direction of R.W. Owens and Son Funeral Home of Wolfe City. A memorial service will follow at 11:15 a.m. at Living Word Church of God in Bohham.
Daughter of Leonard Bell and Eva Anderson Robinson, she was born Feb. 21, 1917, in Valley Creek in Fannin County. On July 9, 1936, she married Robert Earl Adams in Valley Creek. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and a member of Randolph Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Billings of Melissa; four sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Mary Adams of Sherman, Bob and Linda Adams of Greenville, David and Roxella Adams of Fruitland, Fla., and Kenneth and Jackie Adams of Bonham; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Her parents, four sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.
