Verlon Louise (Ferguson) Sansing, age 91, passed away June 29, 2022, at New Haven Assisted Living and Memory Care of Wylie, Texas. She was born November 23, 1930 to James Guy and Audrel (Wilburn) Ferguson in Commerce, Texas. She was a graduate of Wolfe City High School in 1948 and attended the Brantley-Draughon Business College in Fort Worth, Texas.
Louise married William Lonnie Sansing on January 31, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas. They lived in Lubbock, Texas before moving to Garland, Texas where they spent over five decades. The couple were long-time members of Christ Community Church. Together, they enjoyed country and gospel music, travel, fishing trips, and enjoying the company of their extended family and many friends. Louise was also an avid painter, gifting many of her paintings to her loved ones.
She is survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
The funeral service will be conducted by Allen Stroud of Wylie, at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery Chapel in Wolfe City. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Aunt Louise, I will miss you so much. Your sweet and kind spirit, the love you had for your family. The special love you had for me! I can’t remember a birthday that you didn’t call me, always sharing with me, the day I was born, and how you loved being there. I will miss that phone call this year, and I will miss you! Thank you for giving me the beautiful white poodle painting you did!! I’ll treasure it forever!! I love you!!!!❤️
