MaryBeth Montero, age 55 of Greenville, Texas died on Friday, April 11, 2014 in Greenville, Texas. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 23, 1958 to Walter P. and Mary Ellen Olt Himes. She married Anthony Craig “Tony” Montero on April 3, 1982 in Dayton, Ohio.

MaryBeth was a Homemaker, Wife, Mother and Grandmother; she traveled to Okinawa, Japan twice for the births of her two grandchildren Carter and Kennedy. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years Tony Montero, of Greenville, daughter Elizabeth Ellen Cline and husband Ross of Okinawa, Japan, two grandchildren Carter and Kennedy Ross. Her parents Mary Ellen and Walter P. Himes of Dayton Ohio, brothers Skip Himes and wife Jennie, and Michael Himes and wife Nancy.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Amanda Rose Montero on May 18, 2002.

 

A memorial service will be held at R.W. Owens and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Wolfe City, Texas on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Brother Tim Hearn officiating. Interment follows at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.  

 

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
