June 2, 1927 –  November 21, 2015 Ledbetter,
Ollie Ledbetter Jr., 88, of Greenville passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, in Medical Center of Plano. Mr. Ledbetter was born June 2, 1927, in Hugo, Okla., to Ollie Ledbetter Sr. and Lillie Burns Ledbetter. He married Ruby Maudine Greenwood on Sept. 7, 1946, in Celeste. He retired from Chrysler Technology in 1992 and was a member of Park Street Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife of Greenville; two daughters, Karen Marriott and husband Eddie of Paris, Texas, and Judy Perez and husband Manuel of Greenville; six grandchildren, Brian Marriott and wife Shelby, Mark Marriott, Chad Marriott and wife Bonnie, Duston Stanphill and wife Tammy, and Kyle Stanphill and wife Tina; 12 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Gaynell Curtis of Greenville and Beatrice Ratchford of Grand Prairie. Mr. Ledbetter was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, a brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be at the Park Street Baptist Church in Greenville on Friday, Nov. 27, at 2 p.m. conducted by Bro. Johnny Hailes.

Burial will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
Mr. Ledbetter was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps; he will receive military honors presented by the Hunt County Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Brian Marriott, Chad Marriott, Mark Marriott, Kyle Stanphill, Austin Stanphill, and Skip Harrison.
