August 26, 1940 –  May 17, 2011 Patsy Lee Kuether Cate of Wolfe City died May 17, 2011, at her home. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Wolfe City with Dr. Kevin Mitchell officiating. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service.R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home of Wolfe City is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cate was born Aug. 26, 1940, in Gainesville, she was the daughter of Richard Frank and Rhodie Williams Kuether. She married Thomas Charles Cate on Dec. 27, 1974, in Allen. Mrs. Cate was a retired church secretary and was a member of First Baptist Church in Wolfe City.

Survivors include her husband; children Sheri and Keith Keeler, James Smith, Angela and Dave Glidewell, Katrina and Mike Jones, Keith Cate and Ken Cate; grandchildren Natalie and Joe Hejl and Garrett and Jade Keeler, Tyler and Wrynn Jones, T.J. Smith, Cooper Jones, Austin Glidewell and Jacob Glidewell; great-grandchildren Bishop and Madison Hejl; a brother, J.W. Kuether and wife Nellie; and sister Mary Sue Paddock.
