September 9, 1936 –  January 20, 2017 Jackson,
Robert Nathan Jackson of Wolfe City, Texas age 80 passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Brentwood Place in Mesquite. He was born on September 9, 1936 in Summerville, Georgia to Emmett and Fannie Teems Jackson. He married Lynda Tyson on January 23, 1953 in Trenton, Georgia.

He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War, and was a sheet metal worker for many years.

Survivors are daughter Lynn Surles and husband David of Wolfe City Texas, son Danny Jackson Sr. and wife Sharon of Irving, Texas, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, sister Mildred Teems of Trion Georgia, brothers Mark Jackson of Layfatte, Georgia, and CW Jackson of Trion, Georgia.

Mr. Jackson is preceded in death by his wife, parents two brothers Charles Jackson and George Jackson.

A private family memorial service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, Texas
