Robert Renfro age 85 of North Richland Hills died on March 19, 2012 at Emerald Hills Rehabilitation Center. He was born on May 9, 1926 in Josephine, Texas to Carrie Shipp Renfro and Otis M. Renfro. He married Syble Louise Jordan on September 26, 1964 in Brookston, Texas and she preceded him in death in 1995. He later married Eudora Braswell on June 7, 1997 and she also preceded him in death. Mr. Renfro was a Baptist Minister for many years. He graduated from the Southwest Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gainsville.

He is survived by his sons; Robert M. Renfro of Austin and Paul Renfro and wife Karyn of Coppell, daughter Belinda Sue Lowry of Roundrock, sister Carrie Juanita Bell of Dallas, three grandchildren Jennifer Sharier and husband James of Cedar Park, Kirk Lowry and wife Jalissa of Hurst, Kent Lowry of Vicenza, Italy, and five great-grandchildren. His parent’s, brothers Weldon Renfro and Glynn Renfro also precede him in death.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at First Baptist Church Wolfe City with Brother Homer Walkup officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City with Paul Renfro, Mike Pickrell, Kirk Lowry, Bobby Brown, Vernon Shive, Bobby Maples, and James Sharier serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 22, 2012 at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Online condolences may be left at owensandsonfh.com.
