February 6, 1939 –  February 19, 2017 Dr. Samuel F. Muecke, Jr., 78, formerly of Wolfe City, passed away Sunday, February 19th in Birchwood Manor Care Center of Cooper, Tx. Dr. Muecke was born on February 6, 1939 in Galveston, Tx. to Samuel Franklin Muecke, Sr. and Peggy Annis Holt. Dr. Muecke was a veterinarian in the Wolfe City area for many years.
Survivors are 3-sons; John Muecke & wife Penny of Commerce, Jimmy Muecke & wife Stephanie of Wolfe City and Charlie Muecke & wife Lisa of West Plains, Missouri. 4-grandchildren; Jake Muecke, Anna Muecke, Corene Muecke and Zane Belcher, along with 1-brother, Thomas Warren Muecke of Angleton, Tx. Dr. Muecke was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, J. T. Muecke.

Memorial Services for Dr. Muecke will be conducted by Gregg Horn on Friday, February 24th at 2:00 p.m. at the Cross Trails Cowboy Church in Fairlie, Tx. The family will receive friends and relatives at the home of Jimmy & Stephanie Muecke after the memorial service.
