Sonja Dell Lamm, 68, of Wolfe City, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, in Hunt Regional Medical Center of Greenville. Sonja was born January 8, 1954 in Wolfe City to Kenneth and Doris Wilkes Lamm. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Wolfe City. Sonja graduated from Wolfe City High School with the class of 1973. She lived in many cities in her life including Houston, Cooper, Wolfe City and also in Colorado. While she lived in Maryland she worked at a school. She liked reading, knitting and working in flower beds and any other outdoor activities and she enjoyed traveling in a motor home.

Sonja is survived by her son, Michael Wicks; daughter, Jamie Deviva and her grandchildren; father, Kenneth Lamm, Sr.; brother, Kenneth Lamm, Jr. and his wife Carol; sister, Deborah Ray; brother, Carl Lamm and nieces, Sharon Rector and Teresa Perez along with numerous friends.

The graveside service will be conducted by Dr. Jim Gatliff, Director of Missions for Hunt Baptist Association, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. April 16, 2022. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M at Owens Funeral Home chapel in Wolfe City.
