April 28, 1934 –  April 7, 2011 Alice Frances Pharr, 76, of Katy, formerly of Greenville, Wolfe City and Fort Worth, passed away April 7, 2011, in Katy. A memorial service is scheduled at 2 p.m. today at Family Fellowship Church in Greenville with Rev. Paul Blue officiating.
Frances was born April 28, 1934, in Greenville to G.W. and Lucy Talley Sigler. In 1952 she married James Ray Pharr in Bonham. She was employed by what is now known as L-3 Communications, Greenville, and also worked for the State of Texas at Baytown. She volunteered as an EMT for the Sargent Fire Department.

Her husband and parents preceded her in death.

Surviving are three sons, Robert Edward Pharr and wife Dianne, Phillip Ray Pharr and wife Sue Ellen of Katy and Bryan Lee Pharr of Channelview; one sister, May Fair Hudgeons of Greenville; six grandchildren, John Edwards, Krystle and Ross Ramos, Erin Pharr, Robert Edward Pharr Jr., Samantha Kraus and Bryanna Pharr; one great-granddaughter, Lily Kraus; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will be at the residence of her sister, May Hudgeons, for visitation
