Allen Bentley Huckabee, Jr. a faithful Christian, devoted husband and loving father, grandfather & great grandfather passed away on January 31, 2018.
Allen was born in Temple, Texas, on August 10, 1927, the only child of Mignon Huckabee and Allen B. Huckabee, Sr. He graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas, Texas and thereafter from North Texas State University with a degree in Accounting. Soon after he earned his license as a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) in the State of Texas. He worked briefly for the Internal Revenue Service before going to Mobil Oil Corp. for over 30 years. He retired in 1982 as Manager of the Southwest Tax Department. Additionally, he served in the U.S Navy during WWII and also as a Captain in the Army thereafter.

His God, family and home were the center of his life. He and his wife traveled the world over for many years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeannine Bond Huckabee, mother, father and first wife, Marciea Concannon Huckabee.

SURVIVORS: Son Jerry Henslee and wife Debby; daughter, Susan Jessup and husband, Greg; five grandchildren, Greg Jessup Jr., Joseph Jessup, Christina Henslee, Benjamin Jessup and Jonathan Henslee; six great grandchildren; and two nephews, Clint Tittsworth and Charles Tittsworth.

Dr. Drake Torp-Pedersen, Pastor of Terrell Bible Church, is officiating for a burial site service Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM, Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Wolfe City, TX.

Owens Funeral Home, Wolfe City, TX is in charge of arrangements.
