September 13, 1960 –  April 29, 2013 Haywood,Allen Francis Haywood age 52 of Wolfe City, Texas died Monday, April 29, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Wolfe City on September 13, 1960 to Curtis Lee and Anna Lee Green Haywood.

Allen graduated from Wolfe City High School in 1979 and was a member of the football and tennis teams. He enjoyed cooking for his friends and was a supporter of Wolfe City Athletics and a passionate Texas Longhorn fan.

He is survived by his sister Maxine Haywood, nephew Jeff Haywood both of Wolfe City, aunt Nancy Joe Haywood of Sulphur Springs, and many cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City, Texas from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church Wolfe City, with Bro. Tim Hearn officiating. Interment will follow at Webb Hill Cemetery in Wolfe City with Phil Tanner, Joe Wilkerson, John Wilkerson, Chuck Felty, Joel Williams, Stevie Sanders, John Paul Roundtree, Greg Smith, Wally Colbert, Mike McDonald, Russell Brown, Scott Powell, Don ‘Red” Monroe, and Charles Ranly serving as pallbearers.
