December 6, 1928 –  March 4, 2015 McDonald,
Mary Alliene McDonald, age 86, of Wolfe City died on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Hunt Memorial Hospital of Greenville. She was born on December 6, 1928 in Meridian, Texas to Roy B. and Velma Pettiet Minix. On January 8, 1947 Alliene married William Andrew “Andy” McDonald in Dallas, Texas and he precedes her in death.

Mrs. McDonald was a member of the Greenville Church of Christ. She and her husband owned Andy`s Mill in Wolfe City making custom cabinets, doors and windows.

Survivors are Patti Flud and husband Jerry of Wolfe City; Dan McDonald of Wolfe City, Dave McDonald of Pottsboro, Micah and wife Betty McDonald of Wolfe City and Jim McDonald and wife Sanoma of Florence; seven grandchildren, Amy, Kimberly, Heather, Ryan, Angela, Jon and Shawn; 14 great-grandchildren; sister Jean Strader and husband Jerry, several nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Alliene is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Andy McDonald, both her parents, two siblings Joyce Fortner, and Ed Roy Minix, and great-granddaughter Kristen Garcia

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Chapel Wolfe City, Texas, with Mike Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City with Ryan Flud, Steve Sumrow, Jon McDonald, Larry Ward, Waldon Krodle, Carl Lamm serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Robinson, Austin Flud, Jerry Morrison, and Duane Nicholson.
