Friday, November 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Wolfe City with Bro. Monte Weaver and Bro. Larry Morris officiating. Burial follows in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Sherman.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Paul Self, Darrell Self, T. J. Jones, Dustin Jones, Rusty Shreves and Koa Stark.
The daughter of George Ray and Flora Minnie Grantland Thomas, she was born on February 17, 1936 in Savoy. On February 14, 1953 she married Thomas Henry Jones, Jr. in Sherman. They moved to Wolfe City in 1963 and she worked for Ennis Tag & Label in the wiring and stringing department for 31 years. She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving is a sister, Mamie Self of Garland and a brother, Lendon Thomas of Denison. Daughter, Linda Jones Kaiser and husband Scott of Danville, Arkansas and son, Tommy Jones and wife Becky of Wolfe City. Six grandchildren, Jerry Jones, T. J. Jones and wife Randi; Dustin Jones and wife Melissa, Rachel Jones Shreves and husband Rusty, Samantha Jones Stark and husband, Koa and Alan Jones. Great grandchildren, Noah and Maison Jones, Cadence and Aria Thomas, William Jones and Becca Shreves. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Tom: son, Ricky Jones; sister, Leola Gregg, brother, Walter Thomas and two great
grandsons Parker and Grayson Jones.
