March 17, 1922 –  October 23, 2016 Anna Lee Sorrells Boggs James, of Bonham, Tx., passed away Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016 in the Clyde Cosper Veterans Home in Bonham, TX. Ann was born on March 22, 1929 in Ft. Worth, TX. to W.O. Sorrells and Ruby Wells. She married J.H. Bruce Boggs in 1945; Mr. Boggs preceded her in death in 1993. She married George James in Ravenna, TX. in December of 1996. Ann worked for Hennington Studios in Wolfe City for many years then retired to care for her family. Ann enjoyed dancing and was a member of the Senior Citizens Dance Club of Sherman. She loved nothing more than her family.
Survivors are her current husband, George James, of Bonham; daughter, Jan Seeburger and husband of Bonham; granddaughter, Amye Brown of Dodd City; grandson, Hal Brown of Ector, granddaughter, Sue Behrens of Bonham and nine great-grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her parents Ruby and W.O. Sorrells, husband J.H. Bruce Boggs, daughter Betty Brown of Bonham, brother Mack Sorrells, two sisters Geneva Sorrells and Helen Coldwell.

Graveside services will be held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City on Thursday, Oct. 27th at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Bro. Henry Shelton. Family will receive visitors at 10:00 am, prior to the service at R.W. Owens and Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City.
