Mable Ardina Butler, 91, of Wolfe City passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in the Hopkins Place in Sulphur Springs, Tx. She was born on November 2, 1926 in Wolfe City to Fielding Lucas Smithey and Cora Mable Goodwin Smithey and married Cecil Jack Butler on April 5, 1946 in Greenville, Tx. Mrs. Butler was married to Jack for 71 years. She was a member of the West Main Church of Christ in Wolfe City and retired from Henington Industries after working there for 31 years.
She is survived by her husband of Wolfe City; daughters Sherry Parten and husband John; Deanna Clark and husband Randy; one son, Dr. Randy Butler and wife Wanda; 5 grandchildren, Will Butler, Tyson Clark, Wes Butler, Ryan Clark and granddaughter Jennifer Russell; 5 great-grandchildren, Eva Butler, Bliss Butler, Ezra Butler, Camdyn Clark and Easton Butler. One sister, Sue McAdams along with several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 17th at the R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City conducted by Mark Eldridge and A. C. Quinn, burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Pallbearers will be Mike Johnston, Marlin Madrigal, Scott Holey, Matt Painter, Michael Gardner, Pat Painter Tommy Deary and Aaron Deary. Honorary Pallbearers are Bobby Owens and Bill Reneau.
