Berry Lynn Rushing age 58 of Royse City, Texas passed away at his home on Saturday, October 15, 2016. He was born on January 12, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to John L. and Betty Boss Rushing.

Berry had a strong belief in God and enjoyed fishing at Lake Tawakoni. He was faithful fan of the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys, no matter how their seasons ended.

He is survived by his daughter Amanda Rushing of Royse City, stepmother Carolyn Rushing of Royse City, aunt Ethel Ingram of Rockwall, niece Amy Stephens, nephew Gary Don Phillips Jr., best friends Doyle Anderton and Karl Wood, that was more like a brother than a friend.

Preceding him in death are both his parents, sister Pamela Rushing Phillips and brother Steven D. Rushing.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Community Baptist Church at 6012 Highway 276 Royse City, Texas 75189 with Karl Wood officiating. and burial will take place at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, Texas at a later date. Memorials will be accepted to offset expenses.
