Billy Michael Gilliam age 65 of Dallas, Texas passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 in Grand Saline, Texas after a four year battle with dementia. Mike as he was best known by his family and friends was born on March 23, 1950 in Dallas, to Billie Wayne and Betty Joyce Harwell Gilliam. He married Mary Susan McKiernan in Dallas in February of 1979.

Mike worked as a decorator for Freeman Decorating Company for many years and was of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Billie Wayne Gilliam. He is survived by his of wife of 36 years Susie Gilliam, son Kelly McKiernan, three grandchildren, his mother Betty Joyce Davis, sister Dawn Steil and husband Don, brother Tommy Gilliam, and many nieces nephews and great friends Rocky and Charles Crawford.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, Texas with Dr. Roy Stephens of Autumn Wood Hospice officiating.
