August 28, 1917 –  September 8, 2014 Lytal
Bonnie Rudell Lytal, 97, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 08, 2014. Bonnie was born on August 28, 1917 in South Sulphur, Texas (near Wolfe City) as the fourth of six children of Jesse James and Naomi Lytal. She grew up on a farm and attended Wolfe City School. She moved to Dallas in the 40s and went to work for Sears Roebuck before having her career with Southwest Tablet. After retiring, Bonnie and her sister, Inell Lytal, moved back to Hunt County to be closer to family.

Bonnie was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church. She was a meticulous housekeeper and enjoyed cooking and crocheting. Although she never married or had any children, she was a beloved aunt to her five nieces, three nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude for the quality of care given to Bonnie by the staff of Legends Nursing Home and Hospice Plus.

She is survived by her sister, Mildred Pierce, of Leonard. Bonnie was preceded in death by her brothers, Burress Lytal and his wife Mildred of Wolfe City and Hurlon Lytal & his wife Dorothy of Greenville; sisters Kathleen Shields and her husband Charlie of Wylie and Inell Lytal of Greenville; and brother-in-law Marion Pierce of Leonard.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City with.
