Carol Adell Tadlock age 74 of Brashear, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Sunny Springs Nursing Home in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was born on August 4, 1940 in Greenville, Texas to Edwin and Evelyn Smith Branom. She married Clarence Wayne Tadlock on February 13, 1957 in Durant, Oklahoma and he precedes her in death.

Mrs. Tadlock was of the Baptist Faith, she and her husband were active in prison ministry. She was known for the beautiful drapes that she made, and her love of animals. Nannie, as she was better known by her family, was a loving wife, mother grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by three children; Robin Pickens and her husband Russell of Bluffton, Arkansas, Randy Tadlock and wife Leann of Sulphur Springs, and Rusty Tadlock of Mena, Arkansas, four grandchildren Randy W. Tadlock, Jennifer Haynes, Brandon Tadlock, Shannon Tadlock, and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and grandson Jason Tadlock.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Wolfe City. Interment will follow at Ladonia Cemetery in Ladonia, Texas with Ty Romans, Matt Romans, Jennifer Haynes, Tray Haynes, Randy W. Tadlock, and Russell Pickens serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Crumpton-Tadlock and Landon Tadlock.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City, Texas.
