Cathy Jo Watson Miles passed away at her home while surrounded by her family, Sunday, September 2, 2018.  She was born to Albert (Al) and Evelyn Turner Watson on March 7, 1963 at Fort Lewis Army Base in Tacoma Washington.

Cathy Jo was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.  She is survived by her loving husband Steve Miles of Greenville, son Justin Cotton of Dallas, daughters Amy Cotton of Carthage, Elizabeth Arizmindi of Carthage, daughter-in-law Sara Crager of Wylie.  She is also survived by sisters Vicki Cantwell of Prosper, Vickie Rogers of Tyler, Sherry Nicholson of Fairfield, brother Tim Meredith of Athens, grandchildren: Owen Cotton of Wylie, John Dean Jr. of Carthage, Jasmine Earle of Campbell, Evie Cotton of Wylie, Ali Cotton of Wylie, Ashley Dean of Carthage, mother-in-law Peggy Miles, and sister-in-law Karen Scogins of Carthage and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sister Karla Little, parents Evelyn and Al Watson, and mother Billy Jo Gill.

Cathy Jo was a School bus driver for many years in various school districts.  She enjoyed making sure the students arrived at school safely and on time.  She also enjoyed helping the customers at a thrift store in Greenville.

The funeral will be conducted by Tim Hearn of First Baptist Church, Wolfe City at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Owens Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City.  Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.  Visitation will be at 11:30 A.M. Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Danny Wallace, Tannar Wallace, Gunnar Wallace, Jeremy Meredith, Randy Watson, D’Angelo Watson, and Matt Huckabee.  Honorary pallbearers will be Owen Cotton, John Dean Jr., Bill Lloyd, Donnie Gill,. Steve Tull and Kenny Boone.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Vitas Hospice and to the staff of Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville for their kind care and support.  The family requests that donations be made to hospice or the American Cancer Society, P.O.
