January 12, 1965 –  February 17, 2015 Malone,

A Brave, Beautiful and Loving heart stopped beating the night of February 17th, 2015 when Jesus opened his arms and called Charon home.
She fought a long hard battle of many illnesses for most of her life. Thru it all, she never lost her faith in her Lord and she is now resting in his arms.

Charon Denise Speight Malone was born on January 12th, 1965 in Commerce, Texas to the late William Preston Speight and Aline Hornsby Speight. She fought a long hard battle and won them all when she walked thru the gates of heaven. Charon was a two time liver transplant recipient as well as a two time breast cancer survivor. Charon was a very special person to all who knew her, and especially to her family. Her family will remember her loving, kind and generous heart. She always gave to others. Friends and family will always remember all the cards and letters she loved to send them. Charon enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews who often spent time at her home. She’s also known for her love of her many pets.

Left behind to cherish the many memories are her mother Aline who devoted her life to caring for her. Thru many hospital stays she never left Charon’s side. Charon will be remembered by her strong faith in God and the amazing fight she fought. We are all rejoycing in the Lord that there is no more pain and suffering for her to endure because she is flying high with the Angels.
