Chris Stuart Owens, 62, of Plano passed away Monday, November 28, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Owens was born on November 3, 1955 in Longview to Harry Joe Owens and Nan McElwee Owens. He was self-employed.
He is survived by his son, Steven Owens of Plano, mother, Nan Owens of Longview and a sister, Carol Owens Murphy of Longview, and two nephews Ben Murphy and Elliott Murphy also of Longview.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 1, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, to be conducted by Jay Barnes. The family will receive friends at R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M.
