Etta Christine Creed age 67 of Wolfe City, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 in Greenville. She was born on January 21, 1948 in Honey Grove, Texas to Truman Hubert and Mary Ada Hollowell Lair. She married Jeffery (Skipper) Creed on January 16, 1978 in Wolfe City.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Wolfe City, and was a homemaker. Survivors are her husband Skipper Creed, daughter Christel Creed, sons James Bentle and wife Charolotte, Bryan Creed and wife Debbie, grandchildren Jessica Bentle, Brittney Bentle, James Edward Bentle, Cody James Bentle, Angle Bentle, Tayllor Creed, Chase Creed, and Cody Harbin, four great grandchildren, one brother Truman Delbert Lair.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at the funeral home with Rev. Sam (Butch) Creed officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
