June 15, 1917 –  December 31, 2010 GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Constance Rae “Connie” Setzler McDonald, 93, of Bryan will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Owens Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City with Dr. Ed Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery at Wolfe City.
She died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Manor in Bryan. She was born June 15, 1917 in Wolfe City to William Romulas and Maud Ann Brown Setzler. She married Dr. Thomas M. McDonald on May 14, 1939 in Hugo, Okla. She was a dental office manager and a member of First United Methodist Church in Wolfe City.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. James Robert “Bob” and Mary McDonald of Austin; a daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Mike Godfrey of Bryan; two grandchildren, William McDonald and Kate McDonald; two nieces, Elmona McWhirter and Anne Herbig; a nephew, Bill Setzler; and many great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be family and friends, with Reuben Milton, J.T. “Woody” Woodruff, Sidney Wasson, John McCallum and Dr. S.E. Smith acting as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until noon prior to the service.
