August 18, 1935 –  February 9, 2014 Wilkinson,
Dillard Wilkinson age 78, of Wolfe City, Texas died Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Mesquite Specialty Hospital after a long illness. He was born on August 18, 1935 in San Augustine, Texas to John Henry & Mary Lee Ponder Wilkinson. He married Janice Marie Nichols on July 9, 1961 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Mr. Wilkinson was of the Church of Christ Faith and was a member of Southside Church of Church in Shreveport. He retired from the Ne-Tex Cooperative Oil Mill in Wolfe City.

He was preceded in death by his parents (John Henry & Mary Lee), sister (Kathleen), and brother-n-law (Austin Core).

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Janice Wilkinson, daughter Cynthia Walding and husband Randall of Greenville, three sons John Wilkinson and wife Lanita, Joe Wilkinson and wife Joannie, and James Wilkinson all of Wolfe City, one stepson Lee Roy Flanagan and wife Debra of Sulphur Springs, ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A. M. on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church in Wolfe City with Bro. Monte Weaver officiating.

A private family burial will be held at a later date at Antioch Cemetery in San Augustine, Texas
