February 3, 1938 –  February 17, 2017 Don Alton Rhine passed away at Wilson N Jones hospital in Sherman, Texas on Friday, February 17, 2017. He was born in Fort Worth to Mattie Pearl and Ernest Estes Rhine on February 3, 1938. He married Melodese Hembree on September 18, 1954. He worked as a butcher for many years.
Don is survived by his wife of 62 years, Melodese, 2 daughters: Toni Lowry and Donna Craft, 4 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter, Lou Ann Rhine.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Frist Baptist Church in Bailey, Texas. Visitation will be at 10:00 A. M. before the service. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery near Gober.
