Doris “Dee” Tom Morgan Stanley, 70, of Wolfe City, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 in Greenville, Texas. She was born August 19, 1946 to Raymond Morgan and Pauline Cox. Dee married Calvin Wayne Stanley on August 17, 1962 in Dallas, Texas. She worked and retired from the heating and air conditioning business. Together, they had two wonderful children, Paula Renee Waldrep of Dallas (husband, Steve) and Richard Albert Stanley of Sherman. Their grandchildren, Stefanie Ann Helm of Allen and Terry Wayne Moore of Lubbock were the highlight of her life (even if she was slightly more partial to Terry). Their great-grandson, Matthew Christopher Lomas of Allen quickly bumped himself up to a pretty close second behind Terry after he was born. She also had a host of brothers, sisters, family and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held in Mt. Carmel Cemetery on Thursday, July 13 at 10:30AM. Funeral procession will begin at R.W. Owens Funeral Home 200 Santa Fe Street Wolfe City, Texas.
