December 15, 1960 –  May 10, 2015 Swyers,

Elizabeth Gail Swyers, 54, of Winnsboro passed away Sunday, May 10, at her residence.

Ms. Swyers was born Dec. 15, 1960, in Commerce to Billy Jack Fedrick and Mollie Evelyn Burden.

She worked as a CNA for 20 years and most recently for Whispering Pines Nursing Home. Gail had a strong work ethnic and was very giving with a servant’s heart. She shared the word of God with everyone she met with Christian Inspirational Cards.

She enjoyed watching movies, was a history buff, and she was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Winnsboro.

Survivors are two daughters, Stacy Sanchez and husband Luis of Van and Stephanie Tant of Van; her mother, Mollie Sikes of Greenville; stepmother Laverne Fedrick of Wolfe City; sisters Teresa Petty and husband James of Cumby, Karen Milton of Greenville, Angla Vaughan and husband Chris of Farmersville and Wanda Murray of Addison; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Gail was preceded in death by her father, Billy Jack Fedrick; a sister, Rhonda Poe and nephew Billy Dale Keels.

Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 15, at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City, conducted by Gail’s nephew, Justin Milton. Burial will follow at Old Tarrant Cemetery near Sulphur Springs.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Belcher, John Michael Milton, Justin Milton, Caleb Vaughn, Ethan Vaughan and Brian Bakkum. Honorary pallbearers will be James Petty, Butch Samples and Chris Vaughan
