George Alexander “Alex” Sims age 23 of Leonard died on Sunday, March 25, 2012. He was born on December 24, 1988 in Bellville, Texas to Colisa Vavrecka and George Leonard Sims. Alex worked as a Machinist, and was fun loving and hard working man. His mother Colisa Spykes and stepfather Steve of Leonard, siblings Joshua Vavrecka, Cody Sims, Beth Sims, Chrystal Sims, Chris Sims, grandmother Wini Brady and Great Grandmother Patricia Bonney many aunts, uncles, and cousins survive him. His father precedes him in death.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Blanton Chapel Church located at 1025 FM 981 Leonard. With Rev. David Riley officiating.
