October 30, 1929 –  December 29, 2011 Hazel Lee Watkins age 82 of Emory, formally of Wolfe City died on Thursday, December 29, 2011. She was born on October 30, 1929 in Clairmore, Oklahoma to William Cobert Horton and Lee Edna Hall Horton. She married John E. Watkins in 1961 and he precedes her in death. She was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by daughter Kelly Sitzmann of Kemp, son Tommy Malone of Emory, five grandchildren Joe Peebles, Meghan Scott, Niccole Malone, Amanda White, and Cory Sitzmann, sister Dorothy O’Meara of Picayune, Mississippi, brother Wayne Horton of Greenville and six great grandchildren Austin Bradford, Kamyrn Carlley, Cason Peebles, Skyler White, Carson White, and Colby White. Her parents and four brothers also precede her in death. A funeral service was held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 31, 2011 at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City, Texas. Interment was held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, Texas with Rev. Bill Bowman officiating. Pallbearers were Gene Dawson David Dawson Glen Dale Malone Ronald Malone Mike Eldridge and Dale Giles.
